This class action was filed in Alameda County against Waste Management of Alameda County, Inc. on behalf of customers who paid for trash collections they never received. The lawsuit is asking the Superior Court to order Waste Management to return customers’ money as well as to provide compensation and damages for its unfair business practices.

Tainted Peanut Butter

Andrus Liberty & Anderson represents individuals who have been injured by peanut butter tainted with Salmonella serotype Tennessee, a bacterium that causes food-borne illness. In August of 2006, the Food and Drug Administration issued a warning about tainted Peter Pan Peanut Butter and Wal-Mart's own Great value brand and in particular jars marked with product code located on the lid that starts with the number "2111."
